World Migratory Bird Day

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and the Forest Service at Horse Lake Reserve!

Stop by our booth to discover the incredible journeys of migratory birds returning from their southern wintering grounds and learn about the challenges they face along the way. Pick up a Bird Bingo card and head out on the trails to see how many species you can spot as you explore, or feel free to join Sage Fest, also happening that day. 

Plus, we’ll be giving away native seed packets to help you support birds right at home.

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages—no registration required.

Visita nuestro puesto para descubrir los increíbles viajes de las aves migratorias que regresan desde sus zonas de invernada en el sur y aprende sobre los desafíos que enfrentan en el camino. Recoge una tarjeta de Bingo de Aves y sal a los senderos para ver cuántas especies puedes observar mientras exploras. O, si lo prefieres, también puedes unirte a Sage Fest, que se llevará a cabo ese mismo día.

Además, regalaremos paquetes de semillas nativas para que puedas apoyar a las aves desde tu propio hogar.

Este evento gratuito y familiar está abierto a todas las edades—no es necesario registrarse.
