Join us - stewardship work parties are fun and rewarding! Whether reestablishing native riparian plants, or preventing knapweed from taking over and displacing the wildflowers, you will be able to see the tangible results of your efforts for years to come.
All volunteers need a signed liability waiver: once a year for adults & at every event for those under 18.

The stewardship field season runs from March - November. Volunteer opportunities are primarily announced via email and the web. Contact Hillary Clark at [email protected] or 509-667-9708 to be added to our email list, or check the Outings & Events page and look under the volunteer tab.
Site Stewards are dedicated volunteers who act as the eyes and ears of the Land Trust on property near their homes. They monitor public use, record wildlife observations, report threats and unauthorized use, and help maintain and restore habitats and facilities.
