  Trail closures post Balsamroot Fire update 

We have been given the all-clear to reopen all of the Foothills trails that were closed during the Balsamroot Fire. The recent fire has left the landscape fragile. Please stay on the trail to protect the recovering vegetation and reduce the spread of weeds.

Cashmere Canyons Preserve

Trail is open!
Castle Rock Trails

Open - enjoy. Please avoid using trails when muddy to avoid damaging the trailbed.
Dry Gulch Preserve Trails

Glacier View Trail

Open for hikers, bikers, and equestrian use. Enjoy!
Homestead Trail

Horse Lake Trails

The burned section of the Balsamroot Trail is closed all the way to the access point at Horse Lake Road until further notice.
Jacobson Trails

Jacobson Trail is open. Saddle Rock-Jacobson Traverse is now open! CDLT staff is currently working on site restoration. 
Mountain Home Ridge Trails

Forest Health Restoration Project is underway: Trails closed September 4 - mid October.  

Chelan PUD is currently working on Mountain Home Road: Beginning July 1 M-Th the road will be closed completely with access allowed for 15 min at the top of the hour during their working hours. Working hours are Monday-Friday from 7am to 5pm. DETAILED INFORMATION HERE We anticipate dirt work will continue through mid to late September.

Saddle Rock Trails

Saddle RockTrail is open. Saddle Rock-Jacobson Traverse is now open! CDLT staff is currently working on site restoration and spraying knapweed.
