Please avoid using muddy trails to prevent any damage. 

Trails north of 5th street close December 1st until April 1 for important wildlife habitat. 

Dry Gulch Preserve Trails

Open. The Dry Gulch Main Trail (Road) remains open all year-round. All other Dry Gulch trails close Dec. 1. View map.

The Horse Lake Overlook Trail (one of the trails at Horse Lake) is CLOSED for construction of the Horse Lake All Person's Trail. Opening dates to be determined.

Note: Horse Lake Road is not a trail or a CDLT-owned or managed road—it is a Chelan County road. Visitors should follow the closure orders and rules of Chelan County.

Mountain Home Ridge Trails

Non-CDLT work: Road work on Mountain Home Road between Nighthawk Ridge Rd. and Homestead Rd. will begin at the end of April and last approximately 4–6 weeks. Expect one-lane traffic and occasional delays during weekday construction hours (7 a.m.–4 p.m.).
