Noxious Weed Workshop

Date
Time
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Help us protect our foothills and our region of noxious weeds through this informative, hands-on workshop led by Chelan Noxious Weed Board staff,  Adam Pfleeger and Jenna Medlar, as guest speaker.

Learn the noxious weed laws and best management practice and identification of common noxious weeds. We will then do a site tour to look at a variety of land management techniques for hands-on learning. All participants will receive a FREE weed identification booklet and other handouts.

We will meet at the WSU Gardens (1100 N Western Ave, Wenatchee) for the presentation and then drive to Lower Sleepy Hollow for a site tour. Construction is underway around the garden, so parking is limited. Please see the map below for more details.

This event is FREE and open to all ages. Registration is encouraged but not required. When you register, you will receive an email reminder two days before the event. Please register below.

All participants must complete our liability waiver to participate in this event. Please click here to complete one if you haven't done so this calendar year.

Accessibility: We are committed to making our events welcoming and inclusive. If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know at least one week in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
