Join the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and NCW Libraries for an opportunity to show your creative side outdoors. 

We will meet at the Saddle Rock Trailhead shelter to make Texture Rubbings and Eco Prints, guided by Jenna from Strange Garden Zine! Explore the diversity of nature with nature-safe putty to capture the patterns of leaves, bark, or stones and them stamp the impressions with pastels or natural inks. 

We will walk a total of 1/4 mile on compacted soil and gravel. We will make frequent stops on our walk to capture the textures and patterns of nature. 

This event is FREE and open to the public. All ages are welcome. All supplies will be provided. 

Registration is optional, but it gives us a sense of how many people to expect. Plus, you get reminder emails! Please register below. 

This event is weather-dependent. By registering, you will get updated information regarding changes to any of the plans.

Accessibility: 

• All materials will be provided.
• We will walk less than a mile on a compacted soil and gravel trail to find nature items 
• We will spend time at the trailhead shelter, which has plenty of shade and tables
• There is a vaulted toilet and water station at the trailhead
• Link Transit Route 3 can take you to Saddle Rock. See Link Transits website for more information. 

The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know at least one week in advance if there is something we can do or provide to support you in participating in this outing to the fullest, and we will accommodate as possible.

Este evento es GRATUITO y abierto al público. Todas las edades son bienvenidas.

Accesibilidad:

• Se proporcionan todos los materiales.
• Caminaremos menos de una milla por un sendero de tierra compactada y grava para encontrar artículos naturales.
