In 2021, the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and generous landowners opened 10 miles of hiking trails in Cashmere, known as Cashmere Canyons Preserve.
Join Joe Veverka CDLT's Trails Field Coordinator, Annette Jouard, and John Taylor for a recon field trip through fields and forests of a private ranch near Cashmere. Expect to see birds of grassland, shrub-steppe, forestry, and spectacular fields of wildflowers.

Cashmere Canyons trailhead needs your help! We will be hand pulling 6ft tall cereal rye, cheatgrass, and bulbous bluegrass, and cutting back sweet clover to help uncover the native plants hiding beneath them. Most work will be between the road and the parking area, and on the hillside just above the parking area.
