Happy Valentine's Day from CDLT!
Today, as we celebrate love, we also celebrate 40 years of love for land conservation, our communities, and the vision that shaped the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust. As Eliot Scull, founding board member, once reflected, “Those of us in 1985 never envisioned the scope and the effectiveness of CDLT.” And now, in 2024, we are awed by what we have accomplished together.
To kick things off we're launching 40 for 40—featuring 40 special articles in The Wenatchee World and 40 free events! The Wenatchee World will host CDLT on March 12 at their Forum Day at Pybus, where newsmakers and the community will come together to discuss the past 40 years and look ahead to the future.
