Weed Warrior Wednesday

Looking for a hands-on way to give back to your community and connect with others? Become a Weed Warrior and help us hand-pull weeds. 

Where: Lower Sleepy Hollow (directions will be provided when you sign up)

When: June 11, 2025 from 9:00am-11:00am OR 5:30pm-7:30pm (choose your time below)

What: Hand pull weeds to help native plants have the space and nutrients to grow. 

Why: Our goal is to hand-pull weeds as part of a larger habitat improvement plan. By pulling the weeds before they flower and set seed, we can leave the plants on-site without the need to bag them. 

Accessibility: The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know at least one week in advance if there's anything we can do or provide to help you fully participate in this excursion, and we will accommodate as much as possible.

This event is open to all ages. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please choose your preferred time when registering below.
