We need your help to seed around previously decommissioned trails near the traverse and lay mulch down on the trail.
Volunteer Work Party @ Jacobson Trailhead
What: We will seed decommissioned trails and lay down mulch on the trail.
Where: Jacobson Trailhead
When: Tuesday, Oct. 27th from 9:00 - 12:00
Please bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and hiking/work shoes.
We will provide gloves and tools, as well as drinks and snacks.
Additional Info: We will meet at Jacobson Trailhead. There are no bathrooms and limited parking at the WRAC. If needed, we will shuttle volunteers up Chukar Drive to the water tower. If not, the hike up to the restoration area is steep. Once we arrive, we will go off trail on the decommissioned trail, where the ground will be steep and uneven. There is also a possibility that we will lay down mulch on the trail. This work will be moderately strenuous.
