Oct. 26 PM: Volunteer at Horse Lake - Native Flower Planting

We need your help to plant 60 native flowers, place mulch around the new plantings, and lay down seed at Horse Lake Trailhead!

Volunteer Work Party @ Horse Lake Trailhead

What: We will plant 60 native flowers at the trailhead, lay down mulch, and seed along the edge of the parking lot.

Where: Horse Lake Trailhead

When: Monday, Oct. 26th from 5:00 - 7:00

Please bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and hiking/work shoes.

We will provide gloves and tools, as well as drinks and snacks. 

Additional Info: We will meet at Horse Lake trailhead. There are bathrooms and parking at the trailhead. We will plant native flowers and lay down mulch by the bathrooms and kiosk area. We will also seed along the Northern edge of the parking lot. The ground at the edge of the parking lot will be uneven with a moderate incline. The work will be mildly to moderately strenuous.
