We are excited to invite you to a free October CDLT Lunch & Learn member event featuring Brent Cunderla, who will present: "Geology & Ice Age Floods of Wenatchee"
About the Presentation: Come learn about the unique geology of the Wenatchee Washington area. All three main rock types (sedimentary, igneous & metamorphic) occur within the vicinity of the Wenatchee valley. Find out how these rock types formed and the geologic history of this area. Learn about plate tectonics, exotic terranes, faulting and folding and how these played a major role in the geology we see today. Also, learn about the Ice Age Floods of the Pacific Northwest. The Lookout Natural Area, a recent Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and the City of Wenatchee Project, will be discussed during the presentation.
Date: Wednesday, 28, 2026, starts at 12:00PM (noon) and ends at 1:00PM.
