Community Science Projects are collaborations between scientists and volunteers that expand opportunities for scientific data collection and help answer real-world questions. At the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust (CDLT), volunteers play a vital role in long-term monitoring that informs how we care for local lands and wildlife.
Volunteers can join one of several project teams — no science background required. Staff provide training, protocols, and support so participants can confidently collect reliable data.
These surveys contribute long-term ecological data used to track habitat health and wildlife trends across the foothills.
