Oct. 18: Volunteer at Jacobson - Native Grass Planting & Mulching

We need your help to plant 200 native grass plugs and lay down mulch and seed at Jacobson Trailhead!

Volunteer Work Party @ Jacobson Trailhead

What: We will plant 200 native flowers at the trailhead and lay down mulch and seed at the trailhead.

Where: Jacobson Trailhead

When: Sunday, Oct. 18th from 1:00 - 4:00

Please bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and hiking/work shoes.

We will provide gloves and tools, as well as drinks and snacks. 

Additional Info: We will meet at Jacobson Trailhead. There are no bathrooms and limited parking at the WRAC. We will plant 200 native grass plugs, place cardboard collars around them, and lay down mulch. We will be staying at the trailhead but working off trail where the ground will be uneven and at some spots have a moderate incline. The work will be mildly to moderately strenuous.
