Conserved! Mansfield Acres Conservation Easement

Chelan-Douglas Land Trust has completed a conservation easement protecting 998 acres of shrub-steppe and grassland habitat in Douglas County, providing important habitat for the state-endangered Greater Sage-Grouse.

Through this voluntary agreement with Mansfield Acres, LLC, the property near CDLT’s Spiva Butte Nature Preserve will be permanently protected from subdivision and development, helping preserve this rare landscape and the wildlife that depend on it.
