!! Due to unhealthy smoke levels in the area, we’ve CANCELED this work party scheduled for today, October 7th. The safety of our volunteers and community is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at future events!

Come join us for a hands-on volunteer work party focused on trail and habitat restoration!

You will help plant native species to improve the health of our local lands. You may also prepare sites for planting, mulch around new plants, or help with general trail maintenance.

We will provide all the tools, gloves, and gear you’ll need, along with water and snacks before and after the event.

Please wear sturdy work clothes and closed-toe shoes that are good for hiking and working outdoors.

Meeting Location: We will meet at the Jacobson Trailhead at 12pm (Address: 1811 Skyline Dr, Wenatchee, WA 98801). From there, we’ll hike up to our work location on the Saddle Rock East Trail. The total hiking distance can be up to 1.8 miles round trip with up to 500 feet of elevation gain on compacted and loose soil.

Accessibility: The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know at least one week in advance if there is something we can do or provide to support you in participating in this outing to the fullest, and we will accommodate as possible.

¡Únase a nosotros en una jornada de voluntariado enfocada en la restauración de senderos y hábitats!

Ayudará a plantar especies nativas para mejorar la salud de nuestras tierras locales. También podrá preparar los terrenos para la siembra, cubrir con mantillo las nuevas plantas o ayudar con el mantenimiento general de los senderos.

Le proporcionaremos todas las herramientas, guantes y equipo necesarios, además de agua y botanas antes y después del evento.

Por favor, use ropa de trabajo resistente y zapatos adecuados para practicar senderismo y trabajar al aire libre.

Lugar de encuentro: Nos reuniremos en el comienzo del sendero Jacobson a las 12 p. m. (Dirección: 1811 Skyline Dr, Wenatchee, WA 98801). Desde allí, caminaremos hasta nuestro lugar de trabajo en el sendero Saddle Rock East. La distancia total que vamos a caminar puede ser de hasta 1.8 millas (ida y vuelta) con un desnivel positivo de has 500 pies sobre suelo compactado y suelto.
