Trail Access Alert: Saddle Rock & Kenzie’s Landing

Construction projects by Chelan County PUD will affect access to two popular trailheads in the Wenatchee Foothills this September. Please plan ahead if you are visiting Kenzie’s Landing or Saddle Rock Natural Area.

Kenzie’s Landing

The Maiden Lane Extension (gravel road to Kenzie’s Landing) will be fully closed September 8–19, 2025, while Chelan County PUD replaces the water main. Trail remains open to pedestrians-you may walk in to access the trail.

Saddle Rock Natural Area 

Starting September 8, 2025, Chelan County PUD will be replacing the water main along Circle Street, the access road to Saddle Rock Natural Area. Expect traffic delays up to 20 minutes during work hours (Mon–Thu, 6 a.m.–6 p.m.) for approximately 3 weeks. Both lanes will be open outside of work hours. Water outages may occur. Alerta de acceso al sendero: Saddle Rock y Kenzie’s Landing
Los proyectos de construcción del Distrito de Servicios Públicos del Condado de Chelan afectarán el acceso a dos senderos populares en las colinas de Wenatchee este septiembre. Planifique con anticipación si visita Kenzie's Landing o el Área Natural Saddle Rock.

Kenzie’s Landing

La extensión de Maiden Lane (camino de grava hasta Kenzie’s Landing) permanecerá cerrada por completo del 8 al 12 de septiembre de 2025, mientras el Condado de Chelan reemplaza la tubería principal de agua.

Área Natural Saddle Rock

A partir del 8 de septiembre de 2025, el Condado de Chelan reemplazará la tubería principal de agua a lo largo de Circle Street, la vía de acceso al Área Natural Saddle Rock. Se prevén retrasos de tráfico de hasta 20 minutos durante el horario laboral (de lunes a jueves, de 6:00 a. m. a 6:00 p. m.) durante aproximadamente 3 semanas.
