Natural space, for learning

For those of us who have grown up with a lifelong love of the outdoors, it might seem unimaginable that some of Wenatchee's children don't feel like our landscape is relevant to them. The outdoor classroom was as important to my academic development as to the development of my character and sense of belonging in the world. The experiences I had on many river trips, hiking and outdoor adventures throughout my life fueld my passion to pursue education and a career path that would allow me to provide these kinds of experiences for others.
