<p>The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust has acquired 86 acres along Nason Creek and the Entiat River with a donation and funding by the Grant County PUD.</p>
<p>“They were all pretty high priority acquisitions for us,” Bob Bugert, the non-profit’s executive director, said. “All are important floodplain habitat and were from willing sellers. We’ll manage them for flood-plain protection, salmon recovery and benefits for downstream water supply.”</p>
