Elder Speak event offered powerful wisdom for us

Some powerful insights were shared at the Elder Speak event put on by the Ripple Foundation at Snowy Owl Theater on Sunday afternoon.

I came away with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the motivations and passions of North Central Washington residents Harriet Bullitt, Wendell George, Pam Amos, Beth Pratt as well as my father, Wilf Woods.

...Wilf Woods told the crowd that he was encouraged that people in our communities are finding ways to cooperate rather than argue. The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, he said, is an example of an organization that has created a model based on understanding and listening.
