Bugert, Hill honored at Land Trust dinner

The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust hosted its annual gathering Saturday night at the Festhalle in Leavenworth on Saturday. Curt Soper has taken over the helm of this community-based conservation organization from Bob Bugert, who served with distinction for the past nine years.

A crowd of more than 300 people were on hand to celebrate the community building that the organization accomplishes. There is an unmistakable energy at Land Trust events, which reflects the constructive, thoughtful and community-minded nature of the organization and the people who support it.
