Volunteer Work Party: Removing Weeds
Help us care for our Lower Sleepy Hollow property along the Wenatchee River!
Annual Cereal Rye (Secale cereale) is a non-native weed that has a large negative impact on our native natural areas. Along the parking lot to Sleepy Hollow, there is Cereal Rye growing that we want to remove and restore with native plants.
What you will be doing: We will use weed whackers and rakes to remove Cereal Rye and prepare the area for native plants.
Please bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy work shoes. We recommend bringing water and wearing sun protection, too.

Accessibility: The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know at least one week in advance if there's anything we can do or provide to help you fully participate in this event, and we will accommodate as much as possible.
