Volunteer Work Party: Make Cardboard Collars for Restoration Work

We need your help to make 200 cardboard collars to place around newly planted grass plugs at Jacobson Trailhead (meet at CDLT office). These cardboard collars will help keep the weeds down and give the little grasses a fighting chance.

What you will be doing: Cut cardboard into smaller squares and cut/drill openings in the center for 200 grass plugs.

Where: Meet at the Land Trust office (18 N Wenatchee Ave, Wenatchee)

Please bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy work shoes. We recommend bringing water and wearing sun protection, too.

We will provide:

  • Gloves
  • Cardboard
  • Tools
  • Drinks
  • Snacks.

Please contact [email protected] for any questions, thank you!
