Gather the kids for some twiggy fun

Sometimes, at this time of year, I (along with many kids I know) get a little stir crazy. Nature is settling in for the winter, and gray days can become a little monotonous.

While the bare trees outside our windows may not be that inspiring of a view, their twigs and branches are more interesting than they look. Sticks and twigs are also a perfect medium for many fun winter crafts for kids that can be done inside, next to a fire or under a blanket.
