The "Consider Becoming a Wenatchee Naturalist" exhibit will be shown at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center until July 1.
Since 2012 - 130 inquisitive valley residents have completed the 12 week Wenatchee Naturalist program offered by Wenatchee River Institute in partnership with Wenatchee Valley College and the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust.
The course is designed to allow participants to meet new friends, discover lovely local places and gain new eyes for the natural wonders of North Central Washington. This exhibit features photographs, specimens, participants’ journals and hands-on opportunities to try binoculars and loupes and new drawing techniques to record what you see.
Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 PM.
