The Wenatchee World recently ran an article about the Wenatchee Climate Conversation. This program, though not a Land Trust initiative, was started by Bob Bugert and Carolyn Griffin-Bugert in an effort to get Wenatchee talking about how we can address climate change in our community. The first meeting of this group happened at the Wenatchee Valley Museum on September 21. Ninety concerned individuals gathered at the museum that evening to discuss climate change, the environmental threats of global warming, and possible action steps.
