Join Adam Vognild, Land Trust supporter & co-owner of The Inner Circle Gym, on a trail run at Horse Lake. Explore the area, learn some tips, and meet some fellow runners. The run will be for intermediate runners and will last less then 1.5 hours. Expect to run 6-8 miles depending on the group and rest breaks. Meet at the Horse Lake Trailhead. RSVP required. Limited to 6 people.

Attention all trail users! Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and the Land Trust have partnered to help the PUD reclaim an illegally built trail on their Homewater property. We will meet at John Newbery Elementary at 2pm. Bring your bike if you are interested in a group ride after the work party.
Help control noxious weeds along the popular foothills trails. Noxious weeds are nonnative plants with aggressive growth and a lack of natural enemies. These species are highly destructive to our natural areas and out compete native plants. Join the fight against noxious weeds by helping apply EPA approved herbicides by backpack sprayer. This Tuesday April 10th, we will be doing some maintenance on the Lester Trail at the end of Sage Hills Drive. Meet at the parking area on Canyon Number One Road at 4:30.
Learn about the role of fire in forest ecology. This is a hands-on field trip where participants will practice what they’ve learned from the June 14th lecture by thinning overcrowded young conifers.
Come join us for a two-part class on the geology of the Wenatchee River Valley and surrounding area. At the evening session, Kelsay Stanton will discuss the kinds of rocks found in the region as well as how plate tectonics shape what we see.
