The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust works with private landowners, businesses, and local communities to ensure that we will be able to enjoy the benefit of our cherished natural areas for years to come.

In Memory of Dennis Garrity

As many affiliated with the Land Trust now know, Dennis Garrity, one of our board members and the vice-president of the organization, recently died following a brief illness. Most of us were taken off guard and, on top of the great sadness, we were rattled by this huge loss.

 

Those who knew Dennis understand when we praise him for being a kind, sincere, and supportive soul. He followed his passions and jumped in to help causes he believed in by adding his expertise, voice, and hard work.
