Hills are greening-up, birds are busily singing, and the wildflowers are emerging! Happy Spring—the prettiest time of year here in North Central Washington.
The spring calendar is filling up! The Wenatchee Foothills trails north of 5th St. AND Cashmere Canyons will open on April 1st—yay! However, if you'd like to get up to Horse Lake Reserve before that date, come on out for a volunteer work party planting native grasses tomorrow and/or this Saturday—we could REALLY use some volunteers! Check our website often for additional outings and more info and read on for more news.
Your support and involvement are what make our Land Trust successful. We couldn't do it without you!

Comings & Goings Welcome to our new members to CDLT's Board of Directors—Leah Hemberry Ricketts and John Sirois joined our board earlier this month.
We bid a fond farewell to Paul Hessburg and Bill Gaines, who finished their time on the Board. We are grateful for the years of service and expertise they gave to the Land Trust– we are a better organization because of their contributions!
Welcome to Tiffany Theden. Look for her out on the trails and say "hi". She joined CDLT as our new Stewardship Asst. this month.
