Migratory Birds Now is the time to observe birds that we don't see year-round. Read about some of these seasonal visitors here on the Wenatchee Naturalist blog.
Wildflower Spotlight Meet the early-bloomer, Chocolate tips (Lomatium dissectum). Other common names are fern-leaved desert parsley, fern-leaved biscuitroot or the "roll-off-the-tongue," sessile-fruited fern-leaved biscuitroot (impress your friends). They can also appear lemony-white-chocolate in color. YUM!
