It seems that every year I am surprised by that first hint of autumn. Before too long, we'll be hoping for a few more days of warm weather to let those last tomatoes ripen!

Watch this short video, filmed by Cascade Fisheries, of juvenile chinook salmon in Nason Creek. The fish are making use of the woody debris placed in the water on a Land Trust preserve—part of a larger salmon restoration project.
