Greetings!

The Summer Solstice is this Sunday. Hooray for long days to enjoy the gorgeous place we live in!

We've got a few outings to check out on our website and an employment opportunity (see below).

You've made a positive impact on local conservation — we are so grateful!

Thanks a heap!

Many hands made light work — and, a HUGE heap of dead weeds were removed from Lower Sleepy Hollow Preserve! Fun facts:

  • 24 Volunteer Weed Warriors
  • Many came to 2+ work parties
  • 68 hours of hand-pulling weeds
  • Morning & early evening work parties - total of 7 over 4 weeks.

Hard-working, happy Weed Warriors.

Wenatchee Rock Rose

Our area is one of the only places in the world that Tweedy's lewisia calls home - what an honor! Read all about this stunning wildflower here in the Wenatchee Naturalist blog post.
