Bring your string trimmer or grass shears and help us control invasive cereal rye in the Foothills. We've found that mowing this tall annual grass at the right time will stop seed production for the year. With repeated mowing over several years, rye grass production drops off dramatically - protecting habitat for wildlife and reducing fuel for wildfire.
On May 31st we'll tackle the lower Foothills near Broadview Canyon and on June 6th, we'll move to the Horse Lake Reserve.
