Weed Control at Lower Sleepy Hollow

Date
Time
9-11am

Come on down to Lower Sleepy Hollow, our not-yet-open-to-the-public preserve along the Wenatchee River. We will be laying down cardboard around the restoration plantings in the trailhead parking lot, to suppress weeds. If you have a razor blade, large cardboard sections, or a mallet, that can help speed up the process. All ages are welcome, do as much as you like for however long you like. Work will be light to moderate and involve bending, crouching, lifting cardboard pieces, and hammering in landscape staples.

Everyone's safety is our top priority at these events. Please read CDLT's COVID Safety Protocol and do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.

Please RSVP by filling out the form below so we can get an accurate headcount and provide you with details for the work party as the date approaches.

*All work parties are weather and conditions dependent. Canceled work parties will be rescheduled if possible.
