Water Plants at Kenzie's Landing Trailhead

Date

5-7pm

Join CDLT staff to take care of nursery-grown native plants growing at the Kenzie's Landing Trailhead. Last November, Wenatchee High School Interact (Rotary) Club students  and CDLT volunteers planted shrubs, purchased with funds raised by the club. Tasks include creating shallow wells around each plant to hold water, applying buckets of mulch, adding browse protection, and hand watering. All ages are welcome and volunteers can select a task either on flat land or on a steeper hillside. CDLT will provide tools and snacks. One week prior, all registered volunteers will be sent a detailed confirmation email.
