FULL - Fuzzy-Tongue Penstemon Walk

4:30 PM

Even land that’s been severely disturbed can provide a home for rare wildflowers if we give it enough care and attention. On this outing, join Susan Ballinger to view the Fuzzy-tongue Penstemon in the wild in early May. We will learn a little bit about the process of caring for a highly disturbed area, and how the pandemic led to the local discovery of this rare plant.

Registration required. Please register below. This 1-mile walk will last about 1 hour, and participants can join us at 4:30 or 5:30 PM (5:30 PM time slot is now full. Please contact [email protected] to ask about a waitlist). Limited to 5 participants per time slot. COVID-safe procedures will be in place during the outing, and participants will be required to follow these procedures. More information will be emailed to participants after registration.
