We are excited to invite you to a CDLT Lunch & Learn session with WDFW District Wildlife Biologist Emily Jeffreys, who will be presenting the WDFW's regional wildlife efforts and how to handle wildlife sightings responsibly.

About Emily Jeffreys: Emily is based out of Wenatchee as the WDFW District Wildlife Biologist for Chelan and Douglas Counties. In this capacity she works to carry out WDFW’s mission of preserving, protecting, and perpetuating wildlife and ecosystems by monitoring wildlife populations, assisting in recovery efforts for threatened and endangered species, and making recommendations for sustainable harvest of big game populations, among many other tasks. Prior to joining WDFW in January 2020, Emily worked with many different wildlife species in a variety of states and ecosystems from the islands of the South Pacific to the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts of Arizona, California and Nevada. In her spare time, she enjoys many hobbies including mountain biking, hiking and backpacking, and game nights with friends, and is passionate about dog rescue with a special focus on senior dogs.
