Join the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust (CDLT) for a challenging adventure from number 2 canyon over Twin Peaks to Horse Lake road. This hike, led by seasoned outdoor enthusiast Andy Dappen, covers approximately 12 miles with a 2,500 feet of elevation gain. This trek is suited for experienced hikers—be ready for a moderately strenuous day navigating beautiful yet rugged terrain. CDLT will provide a shuttle to facilitate this outing. 

Andy Dappen brings a wealth of experience to the hike. Known for his ambitious “The 70 Project,” where he set goals to complete hundreds of outdoor activities in his 70th year, Andy's deep connection to outdoor pursuits and the local landscape makes him the perfect guide for this journey. His passion for human-powered sports and local exploration, highlighted through his numerous biking, hiking, skiing, and paddling excursions around Wenatchee, provides a unique perspective and inspiration for participants.

This hike offers an intimate and rewarding backyard experience. Pack plenty of water and a hearty lunch, as we'll take a lunch break and several other stops to recharge. This travese is an excellent opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy breathtaking views, and draw inspiration from Andy’s active lifestyle.
