This event is FULL! Thank you for your interest. Please check out one of our other events this spring.
Join us at the new Cashmere Canyons Preserve trailhead (not yet open for the public!) for a fun and light morning of trail finish work. Our main task will be finish work on a section of machine built trail near the trailhead, but we may work a little bit on the trailhead infrastructure if there is time. This work will be light to moderate and involve hiking less than a mile and using hand tools such as hoes and McLeods. We recommend you bring snacks, water, layers of clothing and anything else you may need for morning - and wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. CDLT will provide tools and instruction. (Note: If you're looking for a longer, more strenuous day of volunteering on the same day, check out the Cashmere Canyons Preserve UPPER Trail Work Event HERE.)
Due to COVID-19 restrictions: Registration is required in order to not exceed our maximum group limit of 10 people. Volunteers and staff are also required to take their temperature prior to the work party and report that they are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms at the time of attendance. If you are not feeling well, have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home. Before you sign up, we recommend you read our Outdoor Volunteer Event COVID Safety Protocol that was approved by the Chelan-Douglas Health District.
*All work parties are weather and conditions dependent. Canceled work parties will be rescheduled if possible.
