BirdFest: Birding at Mountain Home Preserve

Join Joe Veverka of the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and Emily Jefferys on a field trip through open forest and shrubby thickets along a ridge overlooking Leavenworth and the Icicle River. Expect a wonderful 3 mile hike at a leisurely birding pace. Wear sturdy shoes and layered clothing.  Birders will meet at the Canyon Crest and Rat Creek Ridge Trailhead 3.5miles up (from jct with E. Leavenworth Rd) Mountain Home Rd.
