A variety of habitat types provide shelter for many bird species at CDLT’s Horse Lake Reserve. Join Neal Hedges (retired, CDLT Stewardship Director), CDLT Conservation Fellow, Susan Ballinger, and local Audubon volunteer Jane Zanol for this early-morning trip above the Wenatchee Valley during prime birding season.
Registration required. This trip 5-1/2 mile walk will last about 5 hours. Driving 3-miles on a steep dirt road required. We will walk the old ranch road and on sections of the Apricot Crisp Trail. Limited to 10 participants. COVID-safe procedures will be in place during the outing, and participants will be required to follow these procedures. More information will be emailed to participants after registration.
